I was born and raised in Elliot Lake. I had to leave to find a job. I wish I could move back, but now I am married to a great guy who likes living in Missouri. Maybe we can retire in Elliot Lake in about 35 yrs. I was in the class of 1988 at ELSS. I was not able to attend the reunion, so I would really like to hear news any of my old classmates.

i have been going to elliot Lake for 10 years now every summer, and i must say " i really enoy the surroundings and the hiking trails through the forests, i stay at South Bay Park with my Grandfather.... i am planning on coming back up there july 15 or july 16 not sure. but i will be there!! for the 2nd time this year.... We have visited Elliot Lake a few times and plan on retiring there in 2005. That seems too far away though and if we can get there earlier we will.We feel as though Elliot Lake is home and every time we have to come back down south we grieve a little.
